TALK:
Odd Interaction Concepts (OINC) turn the interaction design process upside down. We will look at scientific, artistic, digital, analogue, technological, and everyday examples of odd interactions and reflect on their usability as a design methodology. It will be funny, critical, novel, speculative, and above all odd!
SPEAKER:
Sara Mlakar is an interaction designer and researcher focusing on bridging the gap between new technology and everyday users, striving towards greater social acceptability. As a researcher, she creates (artistic) objects with novel interaction inputs to gather insights into human behavior. As a designer, she applies those principles to products of the future.
