Between audiences, bubbles and communities – about founding and sustaining a festival
Founding an interdisciplinary festival and maintaining it over many years is a complex and, in many cases, not always purely rational endeavour.
This talk attempts an approach to this issue.
SPEAKER:
Bernhard Steirer is the co-founder and co-CEO of Elevate Festival since 2005. Prior to that, he worked in cultural management from 2002 on, responsible for the conception and realisation of various event series.
He is a music lover, DJ, co-curator of the music, arts and discourse programme of the festival also the initiator of the festival’s participation in EU-cooperation projects.
