TALK:
Rebecca Merlic’s subnetTALK „co-creative Worldbuilding“ will focus on inclusive worldbuilding through game engines, exploring the representation of marginalized communities. Merlic’s projects, GLITCHBODIES and Kissaten Vienna, use digital tools to foster diverse, co-creative environments. GLITCHBODIES is a “Virtual Pleassure Drama Art Game” featuring non-heteronormative identities in a safe, dynamic space of transformation. Kissaten Vienna brings Austrian and Japanese coffeehouse cultures to life, preserving cultural heritage while bridging worlds through immersive play. Together, these projects exemplify how digital representation can open portals to new, inclusive perspectives and intercultural connections.
